Session 24 (Vanedir)

We start by going back in time to find Durnivir back where we were tracking the weretiger

He finds himself at a betting shop (to bet ted's)

We never see him again

But actually there's an irish satyr that ropes durnivir into placing a bet

Durnivir murders him in one blow with Sorrin for no apparent reason

Turns him into a blood eagle

Robs him of emeralds and 79 gold; emeralds are magical

They're from Sorrin's land

Bloodies the hands of the zoned out slot machine player and walks out

Walks out into a stampede from the direction of the barracks

Grabs the wood elf head off the stage and joins us in the barracks

Ventriloquisting the head as he enters


We talk with Charles

He mentions they found the wereboar in the junction in the sewers

One tunnel on that junction smelt strongly of food

A couple of sleeping areas

One that looked like a makeshift animal pen

A small training area

One into a heavily trapped building

Owned by PTO

We retrieve the amulet from charles


We go to investigate the street where the guards were murdered

Every shop on the street is still in business

The murder happened outside a butchers

B'Rock smells blood and sees faint bloody footprints

The prints lead into the butchers, then behind the counter.

There's predictably a lot of blood


There's a dwarf behidn the counter, blind in one eye, milky white

Ask him for a bone for the dog, he turns around to grab one

Activate the talisman, he becomes a wereboar

We haven't rested

Oops

He swings a maul twice and dies without doing anything else

That's good

Nothing much of note in the front of the shop


In the back of the shop, we find some humanoid bodies

b'rock locks the front

Inside one of the cupboards, lots of clothing

Commoners clothing mostly

A piece of paper inside the cupboard with days of the week and times on them

At the top it says "when to take to squeaky cleaner"

Next time is in 2 days time at 10am

There was one today as well at 10am

This is the name of a shop on the same street

There's also a freezer room

One body has a tattoo, a sailor's tattoo of an anchor and banner, writing "siren's call"

There's a back door to the back alley

Katerina sends the hawk to deliver a note to Charles

We take a short rest while we wait for him


Charles appears to clean up the shop

We go over to the cleaners to take a look

Zap the first person that speaks to us with the amulet, she's also a wereboar

Enter combat

Mauls swinging

Also durnivir smacking vanedir in the back of the head

We eventually kill them both, though it was a bit more dangerous this time

The last one tried to escape but got crushed under her own maul


We investigate the back of the shop

A bloody tub

Another two note on the back wall

One says "deliveries for frocks and jocks", calendar, delivery date is tomorrow

Other one says "delivery to shinies and pretties", next day delivery


There are things to loot, but Rob hasn't planned that yet so we will get them next session
