Vanedir investigates the library the cleric consulted before ritual casting

There's mention of Tyrenician during the great war

He lead the Triton race to peace, and fought against the hostile races

One day he went out to sea and never returned

The sea in an area around the continent became calmer after his disappearance

There's a small map scratched on the scroll detailing where this area is, the Tyrenician Triangle.

There's also mention of lycanthropes in the great war, though they disappeared shortly after

Durnivir goes looking for gemstones in the cathedral

Katerina goes snooping behind the doors

A stairwell that goes up

Another stairwell that goes up

A main door that appears to go to an inner sanctum

A plain door to the side of it that's locked

Katerina tries the ceremonial door and gets shocked for 8 damage

"that door is locked!" calls the priest before continuing his incantation

Durnivir smashes a part of the wall to take a gemstone then pulls a section of the wall off

Goes and kicks the ceremonial door and gets launched like katerina

The cathedral is filled with Tyrenician's magic, making the stone appear wet when dry

We get the talisman of awoooooooo

The assassination happened outside the cathedral, the victim was beside the bishop of the cathedral

The bishop has been sick since the event, and resides upstairs in the living quarters

While speaking with the priest, we see a small indent on the outside of the cathedral where something appears to have struck it, around waist height

By going from the struck point on the wall, through a bloodstain where the victim was killed, and to the other side of the square, we see an abandoned house to the side of the cathedral.

Confirmed with the guard that the victim died to crossbow bolt

Try the door, as it opens a crossbow bolt comes out and misses vanedir and b'rock

A booby trap with wires leading to a hand-crossbow

The bolt is poisoned, as we find out when B'rock pokes Durnivir with it

Vanedir claims the crossbow

Katerina finds footprints on the ground floor, coming from a closed door on the ground floor

The door is locked, and trapped

Durnivir boots it open, and triggers a skyrim flame trap

An oil vase that shatters, and a flaming urn, damaging both durnivir and katerina

A single chair, a half-filled vase of piss, a terrible smell from the corner

Under the window, a small bundle of bolts, and a half-filled vial of something

Also a piece of paper, written in poor common "wait for mayor to begin speech. When he reaches to shake bishop's hand, shoot both of them"

A clear line of sight from house to shooting point to cathedral divot on the wall

shouts down at b'rock to put the fire out

B'rock summons water onto the oil fire

We spend 20 minutes debating what happens when you dump enough water onto a smaller oil fire before being interrupted by a homeless man wandering into the building

Zelda growls at him

The fire eventually goes out, but big damage to the room it started in

A quick investigation finds the source of the sewagey footprints coming from a pile of rubble in the corner

Investigating sets off a glyph of warding and fills in a tunnel that was underneath.

Katerina is knocked unconscious and brought back up by a lay on hands

We leave, some guards ask us about the inside then go inside to investigate

Find an intact bolt and chipped bolt pieces from the bishop

We have a rest and get healed in a fountain of healing

We head upstairs the right side of the building, to the second floor of the building

Selanius is the name of the priest

There's some chatter - Vanedir barges past and opens' the bishop's room

It's as if it's been ravaged by a feral beast

There are claw marks in everything, the cloth torn around the room, a statue of tyrenician knocked to the floor and in pieces

A hole in the window to the room, the shape of the hole is that of a sizable beast

There was a full moon that shone into the window the night before we attended

We investigate the room, there are tiger hairs around - bright orange

The bishop was a tabaxi, brown/yellow

Ask selanius to look into the weretiger information he mentioned earlier

Outside the window leads towards the western edge of the city

There are clear marks and a heavy impression in the ground outside the broken window where the werebishop escaped

Griffon the hawk and leo follow the tracks

Leads us through housing and a place of learning

They come to a stop outside a house with a door knocked in off its hinges

Looks like it had life in it

There's blood everywhere inside, walls, ceilings, pooled on the floors

Body parts scattered too, two people dead

One was an elf, other one is humanoid similar in stature, presumably one male one female

Bloody footprints leading to the stairs

At the top of the stairs, another, smaller, corpse

Bloody footsteps then lead outside to the opposite side of the building from where we entered

Leads to an alley, then a street, a side street, which is a dead end

Halfway along, the prints become humanoid feet, smaller, then an indent where something has collapsed.

Then five sets of prints, followed by drag marks which lead to a manhole cover.

Durnivir leaves a diamond carved into the building next to the manhole cover.
