DAY 5 CONT CONT

Mahala wakes up and gives a hand with corpse transport

Durnevir is throwing peanuts at the prisoner

Prisoner comes to, scared by mahala

Looting discarded barges, no sign of humans on them, 7/8

50 miles further up the river

He was aware it was a gryphon/griffin/gryffon/however the fuck you wanna spell it

Dealing the goods of the discarded barges to merchants in barthon

There are more at the cave

Dragonborn's brother, "Tarloc" leads the operation

Exchanges happened outside the city

He'll lead us to the cave

B'Rock and Katarina are rooting around the looted barge

there's food supplies, more building material

We take a rest at last

Grab some herbs and make potions, long rest

DAY 6 AT LAST

But very early in the morning, like 1am

We make the prisoner lead the way to the cave Holding a lantern

Prisoner is called Herb

He leads us a few hours away

Cave is a hole in the ground

Katarina goes ahead to check for traps

Herb is aware there were places he shouldn't go, numbers expected are slightly more than us

We enter: Katarina, Vanedir, Mahala, B'rock/dogs, durnevir/herb

We enter into a large area

Full of boxes, crates, loose items

One person resting against some boxes, human, holding a spear

Towards the back is an opening to another space, footsteps there

Katarina sneaks and slices the throat of the guard (jerry)

Repositions some bear traps to the opening of the other cave

Extinguish the torches in the first room

Durnevir makes Herb scream, which brings the others running

Two of them trigger the bear traps

One is beheaded by vanedir, the other is incinerated by Calcifer

Durnevir mutilates herb despite being told not to do so

Katarina shoots the half orc bringing up the rear of the other two, nearly kills him

Some more rush up to start the fight

Vanedir intercepts an attack at mahala

Others miss calcifer twice

b'rock rushes in, spits a cone of flame that incinerates the half-orc

Calcifer teleports back to him, burning another one to a crisp

Durnevir runs in and swings with Dave to kill another one, an elf

We beat on a warforged and an elf some more

Vanedir takes some hits

Mahala slices the elf up, killing it

Calcifer runs out, takes a smack from a mace that was deflected slightly

Melts the warforged

Combat over

In the second room is a bunch of bedrolls that lead to two different exits

Down one vanedir can see 20 feet down one before sight cuts off

Mahala doesn't see anything

The dog starts running down a hallway

Katarina and durnevir are looting

Find 4,000 GP worth of emeralds

1,500 GP of gold

We head down the hallway indicated by the dog

The final room is a training room of sorts

Resources/supplies for teleportation circle

The papers include a letter stating the payment is moving at X time do intercept

We load up a sled we found with the goods
