Durnivir fucked off

We head back to charles to report

As we approach the barracks, we hear something about a speech happening

Something about the assassin being found

Also B'Rock savages some pigeons and scars some children


Atop a makeshift stand, we see the three remaining nealonus guards along with Charles

All the other guards nearby too

Charles appears from the barracks, wearing full plate, ceremonial

Spots us all as he begins speaking with Thaumaturgy

He and the guard have found the assassin of the mayor

A beaten up wood elf is dragged out before the crowd

Male, short, middle-aged for a wood-elf, in cuffs made of silver

Behind the prisoner is another guard carrying an execution block


Charles brings out a medallion associated with Tarloc, the fist punching through the crown

Explains the symbol as belonging to a dangerous man gathering power

Mentions that some of the men gathering under him are cursed

Vanedir hands over the pendant via the guards at this point

Charles adjusts his explanation of what the wood elf is

Using the talisman, he turns the prisoner into a wereboar

The beam of light of the talisman stops them momentarily as it begins to shift


Charles continues briefly before decapitating the wereboar, and finishing the speech


James gives Rob the idea to have wererats riding crocodiles by calling them floridamen


We hear a commotion, then see an arrow sticking out of his shield, then many more swerving as they approach him to stick in the shield

Charles saw many of the attackers, a tabaxi, a loxodon, an air genasi, and a gnome

The guards jump into action, dogpiling the gnome, the air genasi, and the loxodon

We see two dead guards and chase that direction to find the tabaxi

We run into a badly injured guard, heal him, get directions, and continue

We encounter a weretiger being faced down by 4 guards, one injured, 2 weary, and 1 fine.


Combat begins with the weretiger

Kills a guard then hits himself

After two rounds, the guards manage to grapple and restrain the weretiger

The party bloodied the weretiger badly, but it didn't die

We escort the guards with the muzzled and shackled weretiger back to the barracks

We see crates of silver shackles
