Session 1 (Vanedir)

Day 1

The party is familiar with each other

Has put up notices, asked villagers for what they know

Pete has many contacts in high places who regularly visit him

When Pete leaves the village, it's always important.

A group of travellers from the north village Jerane to Barthon

While travelling through the forest, they were ambushed by an unknown creature

Only half escaped

Asks us to investigate the creature

They were attacked halfway in

No information on the creature itself

We pick up provisions from the butchers and bakers

Head a day's travel to the forest, rest the night outside

Day 2

Join the main road going north to investigate where they were attacked

Signs of attacks

Small blood stains, a few arrows lodged, drag marks on the floor

Katarina sees spider silk, very fine, a large spider

Looking up, we see 4 large wolfspiders

First turn is very productive

Vanedir throws a javelin straight up and almost impales himself

Katarina dramatically hides behind a tree and misses a crossbow bolt

B'Rock swears at them with speak with animals, and they respond with agreeing to eat him first

Durnivir swings for the tree one spider is sitting in; knocking one spider down a few feet

Mahala GETS FIRST BLOOD

Bolen blesses some of us

"hnnnggggg" with a funny look across his face

Katarina gets first kill

B'Rock is nearly murdered in one bite

Vanedir gets the second kill, slicing the abdomen in half

Durnivir is smacking a spider with a goat skull

Mahala kills the third, that was attacking durnivir

Vanedir finishes off the last one by beheading it.
