We find a crate of materials for a teleportation circle onboard

Continue down the river

We find a lot of blood

Stop the boat and investigate

Source is some bones, picked clean, with teeth marks

Scraps of cloth, nothing distinct to identify them

We come across a partially submerged barge

B'rock goes to investigate

Half the barge is resting on the riverbed

The other half is pointed straight up

The upper half isn't visibly damaged

Below the surface, it appears the middle of the ship burst from the inside

Katarina notices scorch marks on the inside of the hole how it burst

We witness a winged creature, 4x the size of a humanoid dropping a humanoid

The humanoid falls to their death, the creature descends to feed, then leaves

Heads upriver, towards mountains

We come across another barge, 5 humanoids

Pulling the barge to the bank

Going through the crates

2 humans, elf, dwarf, dragonborn

Leather armour, bandanas on a couple of them

Vanedir approaches, tells one of them to surrender

The others attack

Durnevihr knocks the head off the dragonborn

B'rock summons his fire spirit and ignites the barge, incinerating the human woman

Katarina picks off the dwarf with her bow

B'rock's calcifer finishes off the elf woman

Vanedir knocks out the meek human dude (plant) and ties him up

Looting occurs

Bodies stored ungracefully in our barge, plant with them

The barge we found was called Pony Jumper

The barge was completely empty of people
