Refugees are sailors/travellers from the continent, or from other cities/towns that want to return to the continent

Sailors don't want to sail due to ships not returning.

We fail to perceive a thief running past us being chased by a guard

They disappear into an alleyway, where we hear a sword unsheathing and then a scuffle, followed by the guard leaving the alley

[[Katarina]] goes to investigate, the guard limps away, and there's no corpse, but a bloodtrail leading to a bin with a hand sticking out of it

B'rock awakens to being pissed on by a dog

He's in a private garden surrounded by a pack of dogs

He transforms into a dog and starts talking with the dogs

Gets into the house to scout it out

Very rich place, very fancy, ballroom, servants cooking, etc

He finds the front door, starts whining to be let out, starts barking and howling

In an attempt to shut him up, the servants get him a massive hunk of meat

He unshapes, thanks the servant for the meat, and swings the door open and legs it out

Tavern the others are staying in is owned by a Leonin

[[Mahala]] inquires about the river to the Leonin

People attacked by a fast moving creature (singular), seems to approach from the sky, it's hungry

The morning is very animated at Gralys' place on account of B'rock and the dogs

[[Durnevihr]] pisses against the front door before stepping in

The dogs zooming around, listening to B'rock

Near the entrance to the city, there's an inlet to the river

This is where the barge is loaded and unloaded from

One barge returned, floating back down the river, nobody was aboard, found a few km upriver

[[Caliope]] is the name of the barge

The owner is [[Theodred Cronwhelp]]

The inlet has a loading bay belonging to Gralys' company

We go shopping for supplies and head to the barge park to investigate the ghost barge

Workers are milling about, not really working as nobody wants to load a barge to travel, and all the barges are unloaded

Bolen goes to investigate the Caliope, jumps on, opens a box, nearly vomits, then finds a box of furs

B'rock finds talon marks on the side of the boat

Vanedir and Mahala find body parts, blood, clear claw marks as well as the talon marks
