The only way to stop his rampage was to split the peninsular off from the rest of the continent and so a collection of powerful wizards sacrificed themselves and created a massive explosion which severed the peninsular from the continent leaving [[Yeenoghu]] stuck unable to cross the deep ocean rift caused by the explosion.		84 years ago.
